Giving back

We are honoured and privileged to work on campaigns which help, safeguard and protect the most vulnerable in our society; from the award-winning locking cooker valve keeping people gas safe in their homes, assisting our elderly communities to stay safe and warm, to helping young people to find their way.

We’re firm believers that small actions make big differences. That’s why we’re proud to engage with and invest in our communities, making lasting differences. It’s called good karma! Some of the positive things we’ve been doing include:

We’re winners of the Toast of Surrey Business Awards, for our Contribution to the Community. We’re so happy and fortunate to utilise our design and marketing expertise to support deserving projects in different communities.

We are proud to support Reigate Women Football Club with a brand new kit in striking blue and yellow. Thanks to Football Coach Mark Adams for his time and dedication to this up and coming all female, all kicking football team!

National campaign for Locking Cooker Valve (Corporate Engagement Award, Best community involvement (corporate social responsibility)). The initiative supports people, such as those with Alzheimer’s or autism, stay gas safe in their own homes.

MAD Ideas at Heritage Open Days

Heritage Open Days – giving families the chance to visit and appreciate historic places they wouldn’t normally have the chance to access, free. We design the brochure and supporting materials, including giant cut-out characters!

Rehab 4 Addiction offers a free hotline dedicated to assisting those suffering from drug, alcohol and mental health problems. Rehab 4 Addiction was established in 2011 by people who overcame drug and alcohol addiction themselves. You can contact Rehab 4 Addiction on 0800 140 4690.

Mayor’s charities – we are pleased to support the Mayor’s charities over several years including the record-breaking Jump for Lyfe in support of young people.

Horley Town A23 roundabout flowerbed – we are proud to sponsor two sites, bringing colour to people as they approach the town.

Sustainable donations to worthy causes including Hillside Animal Sanctuary, RNLI, King’s College Hospital Charitable Fund and RSPB.

Bluebell Railway – Rebranding (including a complete overhaul of their stationery!), marketing, leaflet design and re-designing their visitor guide.

Horley Carnival

Horley Carnival – design of annual souvenir brochure since 2014, giving a lasting legacy of the special community event with special games, editorials and useful information!

Exeter Great West Run in support of MIND – t-shirt design for all participants in memory of Joel. Because every young life wasted is a light out in our world.

MAD Ideas Oxted Carnival

Oxted Carnival – marketing and design of community brochure and posters, in support of local charities.

Classic FM Make Some Noise – supporting small projects across the UK, providing help for youngsters and their families living with illness, disability or lack of opportunity.

Furnistore – supporting their charitable work with van design and leaflets helping them reach more people across Surrey.

Winter wellness campaign – working on logo, brand styling and an innovative leaflet to help vulnerable people stay warm in their homes.

Born to Sparkle – logo design empowering young women. You go girls!

Pin badge

Candle pin – supporting the Disaster Relief fund, Philippines.

Helping to nurture the next Picasso, we gave felt tip pens, crayons, colouring and drawing packs to St Mary’s junior group.

Horley Town – a booklet celebrating Horley’s history and heritage.

Helping to make new beginnings – donating warm clothing for people who have found themselves homeless in the UK, and supplying toiletries to women who have survived human trafficking.

Men and car

Adrian (aka Aloo) and generous companies including #Keyline and #CPMGroup have amassed £100,000+ for prostate cancer UK. MAD Ideas created their ‘Beach Boys’ theme rally car which took them across Italy with beat boxes blazing.

Football team

We don’t know much about kicking a ball but we love to support our aspiring sports stars of the future. So we donned our gear and headed to the All Stars Football match – volunteering our time alongside some seriously great sporting legends in aid of St Mary’s church and the guys at Clockwork.

Awards ceremony

Horley in Bloom/South East in Bloom – we’re proud to sponsor colourful planting and green landscaping in our hometown, helping to make our spaces more vibrant and a place for birds and bees to have a place they can call home too!
