Logos and brand styling we’ve created for our clients

Here at MAD Ideas we’re experts in logo design and creating brand styling for corporates, professionals and start-ups. We shine a spotlight on some of the amazing companies we’ve been lucky to work with.

New logo and branding for top tourist attraction, the Bluebell Railway

We were delighted to be commissioned to create the new logo and corporate identity for the incredible steam powered Bluebell Railway in Sussex. It is one of the first preserved working steam railways in Britain, famously featuring in Downton Abbey, Churchill’s Secret and… Muppets Most Wanted!

The logo we designed gave the Bluebell Railway a new lease of life, attracting new international audiences, while giving a nod to the heritage railway’s past.

This high profile campaign featured in a short film with television presenter Nicolas Owen and the branding can be seen across London tour buses, signage, station platforms, UK tourism brochures, promotional merchandise and educational materials. To celebrate, we also created the ‘Steaming to 60’ supporting logotype for limited edition mugs and pin badges, with the publication of a special anniversary newspaper.

Safe and well logo design

Logo design for Everyone Home Safe and Well, South East and Scotland

MAD Ideas created the ‘Everyone Home Safe and Well’ logo for a series of Safety Roadshows held nationwide across the South East and Scotland. The aim of the campaign was to make safety ‘personal’. Safety is sometimes an afterthought. The client wanted safety to be thought about differently, to give individuals accountability.

We were given four weeks from consultation to launch and worked flexibly with the client to ensure a highly successful outcome and maximum engagement.

The branding was applied across promotional goodies such as hoodies and drinks bottles, personalised campaign materials, posters and more. See our projects for more of our creative work.

Mole Valley Council: branding and logo design for the Rural Summit launch

MAD Ideas were delighted to work with Mole Valley District Council, based in Dorking and Leatherhead, for the launch of the Rural Summit.

Hosted by TV presenter Nicholas Owen, the summit was a huge success with a variety of stakeholders and influencers in attendance.

The MADsters brought the event to life, creating the logo and branding. We also designed the summit’s branded marketing and advertising campaign materials including the print and e-invitations, event brochure and booklet design, visitor signposting, digital advertising and screens, portable pop up banners, large format posters and some very popular eco-friendly, green giveaways!

We were given less than six weeks from consultation to launch and worked closely alongside our client throughout to ensure we met their tight turnaround. Dorking based businesses were thrilled with the result.

When our client in Crawley wanted an original new logo for their muscle energy, sports massage and neuromuscular bodywork business to help athletes perform at their best and aid recovery time, they turned to the MADsters for their branding and marketing materials.

We listened to the business, fully understood their vision and researched their marketplace before creating the Body Performance branding. The new branding incorporates yin and yang references, with unisex tones and bold, flexible shapes.

The client’s service benefits corporates, sports people such as footballers, athletes and those who just want to relax or improve their flexibility, performance, muscle function and posture.

The new logotype and branding was applied across a suite of marketing materials including digital and print media such as mini leaflets and business cards.

The client said:
